Lisa Reneson
I began my career at the Globe Pequot Press (1995-2002) where I learned the art of book making from the ground-up. I started as a typesetter, working in Quarkxpress (and now in Adobe Indesign), and by the time I left to start my freelance business in 2002, I was designing and producing more than fifty books a year. Since starting Two Sisters Design, my work has become much more diversified to include annual reports, brochures, calendars, newsletters, invitations, logos and ads—even a bus!
My approach to design is a process of collaboration between my client’s desired outcome and my creative views. I believe the greatest creativity comes from an openness of mind and attitude from both the client and designer.

I began my career in web design by volunteering to do something I did not know how to do at one of my first jobs. How hard could it be to do a web site? It was 1998 and I figured out how to bring The Cooley Gallery on-line. I was hooked. Soon other galleries and companies began inquiring into my work and a freelance career was launched. Early days were some straight hand coded HTML. Then Dreamweaver and then onto various Content Management Systems like Wordpress. I love all the elements of web design - making a clients vision come alive and ensuring that it is clean, creative and simple to use.
